dat file viewer

I not to long ago did a OS reinstall of XP MCE and before I did it i used the file and transfer wizard to save files and settings to a second drive in my system

 

The install went well and i think that i brought in all the files and settings but i am not 100% sure as a folder with files are missing..

so now on the spare drive  I have 8 img0000X.dat(X =1-8) files.

Does anyone know of a view that can be used to look at the contents of these files?
