Debug Script! for XPS system

Question

Hi there, I want to clean my partitions in XPS system. When I want to re-install XP home, I see there is 8 MB unpartitioned. I remember once a Dell technician helped me using I guess  a tool named 'debug script'. I am just guessing not sure, but he asked me to enter some commands which removed the partition completely and I could do a clean re-insrall of Xp home. I understand that probably sending these commands are not necessary but would you please someone send me the commands I have to enter? Are these commands are different in different systems? Where I can find this tool on my supplied CDs from Dell? Are these commands different in different version of debug script or for all the machines are the same? Thanks

abasnaghavi, I believe the commands you are looking for are those here. Running debug is a waste of time, however, because that 8MB 'partition' is created by roundoff errors in hard disk size.

Does it say anything about it being non-system specific?

It is NOT on your Resource CD, it clearly states you have to download it.

I find it amazing that you're doing all this to try and remove an 8mb partition that likely will be recreated when you reformat the hard drive. This is a colossal waste of time.
