I have the same problem with mine, only it is now 2 months out of warranty. I have tried Vista and Windows 7 Ultimate Editions X64 bit. I even replaced the hard drive and tried swapping the memory sticks. Everything I have found online suggests a driver issue. I have read problems pointing at ram, audio, hard drive, integrated webcam, BIOS update. I have tried replacing or updating all of these. It still BSOD's. Nobody has any definite answers that seems to work. I just think Dell is dropping the ball considering there seems to be a lot more BSOD's these days from Dell then ever in the past. Oh...and mine happens even during the installation of a new OS, so it isn't a Windows update as suggested by other sites either. 2 of my friends had Studio laptops but of other models. They too have had problems spanning from bad motherboards to bad graphics chips. Maybe I just need to switch to the Asus netbooks. My wife's has lasted 14 months with no problems.
