so you're recommending people uninstall SP2 or am I misreading something there???  i thought uninstalling dell's help/support customizations solved the problem.   it's sad that dell is still telling people to uninstall SP2

Man . . talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face . . uninstalling SP2 to fix something like Dr.Watson makes no sense at all

This fix worked for me and many others.  I will not argue the point anymore, It's not worth all the agrivation trying to help others with this problem......ora

1) viruses that look like updates will still be stopped by anti virus software

2) Removing dell support center will stop the bugs

3) uninstalling SP2 is not a good solution

This is all :)
