DSR Symantec Internal Error 36000
I have a 2year old Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop running Windows XP Home
I accessed the DSR through ctrl+F11 to restore my laptop to it's original Dell configuration. Around one quarter way through the Symantec restore process an error appears: "Internal Error 36000: An internal inconsistency has been detected." After clicking OK another window appears "Error EC95002D The legacy. gho image could not be restored" After this window the restore process stops and I am returned to the Symantec home screen.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Celine

Also... When I restart the system it stops on a black screen which says: "A disk read error has occured. Press ctrl+alt+del to restart."
Restarting brings me back to that screen everytime. My only way passed it is to reinstall windows from the disk, but I would prefer to us the DSR. Reinstalling from the disc seems to mess up my screens resolution and other things such as that.
Any help? Please?
Thanks,
Celine
