Are you using IE?

Have you run any scans,if not run your AV and avg anti spyware in safe mode.

Also check this link for possible solutions.

I have the same problem. I went to the site suggested, but it looked a little outdated. When I get the error message at the very top of the page it says: iexplore.exe-Application Error. My error message reads: The instruction at "0x749860b0" referred memory at "0x00000000" The memory could not "read"
Click OK to terminate the program

I'm using IE

I did do a scan in safe mode with avg anti-spyware.

Are there any more suggestions?

Thanks,

Try disabling add-ons one at a time for a test.

tools>manage add-ons>highlight each one & disable.

You might consider trying firefox.

Hi Tom

I just did that with the add-ons and found that one of my Earthlink files was the problem. I just disabled it and it seems that everything is working fine, with no IE error message.

Thanks for the headsup Tom
