Error message....load needed DLL's for kernel
MY computer was running slowly and when I tried to rebbot I got this message. My computer did not come with a Window's XP disk so I cannot do a reinstall. It is a Dimension 3000 and is less than a year old. Talked to support and they said they can help me fix it for $99.00. I would like to do this myself if possible....any suggestions?

Try requesting an XP reinstallation CD from Dell. See this. A kludge fix is to use PC Restore to return your computer to "as shipped" condition using the procedure here. You will lose all your data by doing this of course, but you would with a reinstallation as well.
It is unlikely that the error can be repaired without an XP CD but just in case what is the exact wording of the error message you receive?

Yes, that will enable you to correct the problem. The procedure for doing so is here. The instructions for doing the repair reinstallation are here.
