Factory Reset Problem

16893934789715483629871500903465.jpg

I'm trying to Factory Reset my DELL inspiron 15 because it was passed down to me and I have no idea what happened to it before hand so I just want a completely clean computer with my account, so I decided to factory reset by the F8 method, System Settings, and the command prompt with the same result "There was a problem resetting your PC.  no changes were made"

Please does anyone know what is wrong

If you're encountering issues while trying to factory reset your Dell Inspiron 15 laptop and receiving the error message "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made," you can try the following steps to resolve the problem:

  • Ensure you have enough free disk space for the reset.
  • Disable Secure Boot in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
  • Consider using a bootable USB drive with a Windows installation image for a clean installation.
  • Check for hardware issues that might be interfering with the reset.
  • Keep Windows up to date by running Windows Update.
  • Try using the "Reset This PC" feature in Windows settings.
  • As a last resort, attempt a system restore to a previous point in time when your laptop was functioning correctly.

If none of these solutions works, there may be underlying system issues that require advanced troubleshooting or professional assistance.
