Format Problem
I can't format my Vostro 3550 laptop.when i tried its stuck in the windows logo screen.And cant repair also.i have windows 7 home basic original.Also tried to run in safe mode but after loading some files its just hanging.
No Events found!

Hi Sandy9095,
I am sorry about the situation; try releasing the static power and run the hardware diagnostics. Follow the steps below.
Switch off the system; remove the battery, ac adapter and the power cable. Press and hold down the power button for thirty seconds to drain any excess static power. Press the FN + Power which will initiate the hardware diagnostics. Let us know if there is any error code listed

Hii, SENTHIL S Good Morning.Last night i follow your step and after that i was able to start format but after complete the format the same problem arise.Its stuck on on the windows logo screen.By the way i diagnostics the machine by press FN+Pw btn and all the tests were succeeded.There was no prob all the test passed.But i don't know now what to do plz help me.please.Service TAG NO-57K8MP1.(Out of warranty) although plz help.

After reset the BIOS setting(as u suggest) I just format only C drive then its enter in windows i saw all the drive my data everything ok fine and after that i restart same same problem happened once again it stuck on the windows logo screen. Really i don't know what to do right now i m frustrated about this matter. Plz suggest me plz.

Hi Sandy9095,
Please check if the system is booting into windows only with one memory, refer to the user manual in the link below for removing and reseating of memory.

In case the system is not booting into windows try swapping the memory and check if the system is booting, after this step if the issue persists remove the hard drive and check if the system is starting.
You can refer to the above link for removing and reseating the hard drive.

Hi Finally i was able to format(all drive) and working since 2 days after that i started it show the windows logo screen and after it disappeared and windows goes black screen for a long time also some of key is not working.help me plz.
