Format
Just want to start over and find directions as to proceedures. Have a Dimension 266 with 2 hard drives. Main system started out with Win 95. Over the years ended up with WinME. Terrible mistake.
Would like to format drive and install a new 98se. Just looking for directions as to how to format drive and set up new. Not interested in using Dell system Disk as I have all the drivers for hardware

Format instructions are here. Whether you want to run FDISK as well is up to you. Once the hard drive is formatted, operating system installation is covered here.
