Hello! "Update.cpp 1072" error

I'am a user of dell inspiron 6400, 80 gb hdd, 1 gb ram, 128 mb integrated intel 945gm g. card, windows vista.

It was before windows xp, and yesterday, I've upgraded it to windows vista home premium, I installed drivers. But when I try to install dell wireless card driver (except U.S and Japan), it gives me error message, "Error "update.cpp 1072" has occured and setup cannot continue". I receive this message when the installation is about %90's. No wonder, downloaded it from vista applications part, inspiron, dell 6400, vista home premium part. Can you help me about this subject?

 

And I have another question,m that is, vista is faster than xp, and I'm afraid it will be slower in the future. What do you think? does this situation occur? And I have to indicate that my Vista is lite version. when i install its full version, will it be slower?
