HELP! REMOVE Google Toolbar HELP!

Question

Hi all. Hope this is the right place. So I just got my Dell Vostro 1500 with XP SP2, IE 6.0.2900something. I tried to uninstall Google Toolbar from the Start menu. I thought it was gone. Maybe IT IS gone but it keeps showing in the Control Panel-->Add or Remove Programs. I pressed on the Remove button but nothing happens.And again and again but it just doesn't do anything. Then I: Download the installer tried to over-install it so I can uninstall it again but there was some kind of error during the over-installation. Tried the on-line installation by Google. It installed something. Then I tried the on-line Uninstallation but it was still showing in the Add or Remove Prgs.(Again pressing Remove didn't do anything. I then uninstalled the Google Updater(or something that had been installed). Then I tried ALL these again and instead of using the on-line uninstallation I tried to do it manually from Add or Remove Programs but again only the Updater made it and the Google Toolbar for IE keeps showing. I disabled 'Third party browser extensions from IE-->Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced-->Browsing. I disabled all the Google related entries in IE-->Tools-->MAnage Add-ons. Maybe it is gone maybe not. I DON'T WANT IT showing up ANYWHERE! How can I remove it completely?? Or if it is removed how can I remove the entry from Control Panel-->Add or Remove Programs? Hey Tom Already tried this one and it's not working. Toolbar still keeps showing in the Control Panel. Than you.

Try this,tools>add-ons>extentions>google tool bar>uninstall.

OR

Try removing it in safe mode.

OR

Try add remove pro.

Hey Tom.. 1.I guess u where talking about Firefox 2.Safe Mode didn't do anything 3.WORKED!!!!! I removed the reg entry with this proggy and then manually deleted the C:\Program Files\Google folder in Safe Mode..(strange I couldn't delete it in Normal mode??) IE still shows google toolbar as an Add-on but anyway I don't care because I almost never use IE.I just wanted to get rid of the Control Panel entry. Thanks for your help. Cheers.
