Help with Arrow in Title Bar!

I have this arrow button in the title bar of whatever window is active and not maximised:

Does anyone here recognise it? Or know how to get rid of it? It's really annoying.

When pressed, it moves the window to the right by about half the screen. I'm using a Dell E6500 with XP SP3.

The button always looks the same too, not matter what my desktop appearance settings are, or when I have windows that aree completely different looking, which is even more annoying.

Any help or ideas would be great.

Thanks

IE7 or 8

Might be an Add-On

In IE go to Tools>Manage Add ons>Enable or Disable Add-ons

I see the same arrow in dialogs on an E4300, agree it is astonishingly annoying. I assumed I'd caught an unusually goofy virus until I saw your post.

I don't see any new processes sitting around, but it only showed up today...

Posted a fix at http://en.community.dell.com/forums/p/19277935/19499629.aspx#19499629; in summary, just kill hkcmd.exe.

Problem solved!

Thanks for that, the button was extremely annoying. It was even shown on windows without a title bar shown, which just looked rediculous.
