Help!!!

How Do I Back up Music Files that I downloaded, then delete them and still Have the Music?
Do I need a mass storage device or is there a way I could do it without it because i have over 2000 songs and my memory is getting used up and my comp. is becomeing slower? any suggesttions

    burn them onto CD's...mass storage...new harddrive...you can't delete them and have them still exist and be playable

    What program are you using. With iTunes it should be a simple matter to back up all your purchased music (and make sure you've got your password written down for the iTunes store!)

    But...purchasing music dosen't affect your RAM, and it won't slow your computer down. If that's happening to you, something else is going on-spyware is a likely culprit.
