Help!

I'm hoping someone can help me.  While trying to access any internet link, ie online banking otherwise, this is the error message I get:

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.  Please contact your system administrator.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi  CranbrookBC ,

My name is Colin and I work for  the Social Media and Community Team at Dell.

With regards to you not being able to access your banking web page it could be due to a date issue. Please check the date and time on your computer and if it is incorrect please correct the same. You could also reset the I.E. In case these steps don't work you may try accessing using other browsers like Mozilla.

    Please note:

Double-click the clock on the bottom-right of the screen to change the date and time.

Please reply if it was helpful.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi CranbookBC,

Assuming that this problem is with Internet Explorer, perhaps you have a corrupt registry key for IE.

    See the info here:
    http://www.slipstick.com/problems/this-operation-has-been-cancelled-due-to-restrictions/

You did not mention if your problem is when you click on links in Outlook. If that is the case, Microsoft has a FixIt here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310049

Let us know if any of these suggestions work.
