how reinstall operating system
I have black screen with blinking cursor. Called Dell and did hardware diagnostic. No problems. Technician said I need to reinstall the operating system. It was Windows. How do I reinstall my operating system on this computer?

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Recovery.
Under Remove everything and reinstall Windows, tap or click Get started.
Follow the instructions on the screen.

Very easy. If you have nothing on the system that you need to keep then a clean install would be the easiest. You can download the media creation tool at Microsoft here. Running that tool will create a bootable Windows 10 installation flash drive. And even easier is this video at YouTube. It is an an extremely easy to follow informative video that will answer all your questions.
