I posted this on Hard Drive forum, but think there's more traffic here. Hope I can get away with this:

Trying to install 2d HD in my 4600. The second drive is formatted and has files on it. I've been running it on USB 2.0. What I've done:

1. Set both drives to "Cable Select".
2. Connected old HD, "C:/" to first connection on cable.
3. Connected new HD, to end of cable.

When I start comp I get "NTLDR is missing, press C-A-D to restart.

Have disconnected new drive, put original drive back on end of cable. The computer is now working, but would not boot in "Normal". I had to set it to "C:/", and it booted.

Would appreciate someone telling me what the problem is/what I'm doing wrong. Thanks a lot.
