Hi juanmurillo,

Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 has released the new version of BIOS which can be used in the DOS environment. Hence you may use a bootable USB to download it on to the computer.

The direct download link for BIOS version A11 is below:

You may also use the below link to find latest drivers:

Thank you Kiran,

I've been trying different tools to make a bootable USB and different  versions of MS-DOS but still can't make it execute the file since it says The sub-system required to take care of the type of image is not present, is there any specific tool and MS-DOS version I should use in order to make it work?

Thanks,

Hi juanmurillo,

Request you to follow the below steps:

(1) Download the driver and save it in the desktop.

(2) Connect the flash drive and format it. Double click on the flash drive then right click and click on format.

(3) Format option appears, Check create a MS-DOS startup disk and click start.

(4) Copy and paste all the files you downloaded in the flash drive.

(5) Restart the computer.

(6) Keep tapping F12 key until Advance boot menu appears.

(7) Now scroll down and select USB to boot from USB.

(8) In DOS change the drive letter to the drive letter of the flash drive, input file name and hit enter.

Hi juanmurillo,

Ideally to boot from USB we need to follow the steps mentioned in the above link but since setup disk option is not available I request you to refer the below link and follow the steps mentioned in it:
