Intel Graphics Driver is Crashing Computers
I'm running into an issue with several of our Dell laptops, specifically our 5550 model laptops. We use Dell Command Update to get additional updates for our machines and recently an Intel Graphics driver got released through Dell Command Update. This update specifically is causing our 5550 laptops to crash while it installs. We are able to download and install every other update with no problems. It is only this graphics driver update that is causing the problems.
The specific name of the driver in Dell Command Update is Intel Graphics/UHD/Iris Xe/Arc/Arc Pro Graphics Driver and Intel Graphics Software Application (1.4 GB, 4/10/2026)
I have a screenshot of the option for it from Dell Command Update attached as well.
As you can see from the date at the end of the name, the update is a very recent one. I haven't seen any other posts with anyone having issues with this so I'm not sure if this is a problem on Intel or Dell's end or something specific to my organization. Would appreciate anyone's insights or explanations on how to handle this.
Thanks!

on Windows 11 Pro i have disabled the drivers updates, using the below steps:
Use the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run command.
Type gpedit.msc and click OK to open the Local Group Policy Editor.
Browse the following path:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Manage updates offered from Windows Update
On the right side, double-click the Do not include drivers with Windows Update policy.
Select the Enabled option.
Click Apply.
Click OK and restart the PC.
