A Dell technician screwed up my computer (after he took remote access) and disabled the Intel Rapid Start Technology Manager and now it shows the error. When I go to BIOS, it is grayed, so can't highlight it.

It is DELL XPS 15 (L521X) with Win8 Pro

I would suggest you to restore the BIOS the defaults. You may follow the steps below:

• Power on the system and tap at the ‘Dell’ logo
• Press on the ‘System Setup Utility’ screen and then press ‘Enter’
• Press to ‘Save Changes and Exit’ and press ‘Enter’ again

Hi, I am also facing this problem after i reinstall my xps 14 L421X laptop windows 8. i can't install the intel rapid storage technology utilities and drivers. Are there any solution for this issue?
