I have a Dell XPS15 laptop bought just over a year ago, and running Windows 10 for some months now, no problems.  Just recently I've been getting this process LM.Detection_x64.exe, which has 4 iterations running, each taking 12% of the CPU, and my fans are running at high speed.  So 48% of my CPU for what?

I called Lumension Security, Inc, the publishers of this code, and when I said I had a Dell, they said that Dell uses it for some sort of security.

Whatever this thing is, I either don't want it, or want it fixed.  Frankly I'd rather just get rid of it, as it looks like it's going to be a troublemaker, and I'm using Vipre for my internet security.  But I have no idea under what name it appears under installed programs, if it appears at all.

The only thing I've found online about removing it is stuff like "go into the registry and remove all associated entries...".  Yeah, thanks I'll just do that.

Does anyone have any ideas?  I'm getting tired of going into the Resource Monitor and killing it.
