Local app data opening by itself?

Every now and then, my browser (chrome and edge both) randomly open a new tab showing http://[myname]/AppData/Local/chrome

It logs me out of my google accounts and my school's website; anyone know what's going on?

I've tried deleting reinstalling chrome/edge and its still happening.
