If you take a look at my Tweaking Guide below, you will note that one of the tweaks discusses turning pagefile right off. I have done this after alot of testing. I learned that, although you may reduce pagefile because you have 4Gb ram, it is still forced into use until you actually shut it right down.
Once you shut it right down, many have felt (as I) that you will see a visible difference even with an ssd. This is probably two fold in that there is less disk activity and also the system is now forced to use the ram.
I recommend to all to follow my Clean Install thread and then Tweaking thread and havent had anyone regret it yet. Many have boasted of the success they have had though.

right on! boot and shutdown times are almost in half! ram use is down and i eliminated almost 1GB of junk on my HD...
is there a way to keep my usb on when i enter sleep? every time i put my computer to sleep my usb drive shuts off and it takes almost 7 mins to reload the readyboost onto it (3572MB)...

No I dont think so. I have had these same probs when i leave the flash drive in. As a matter of fact, I have had it take extremely long to start if I lave it in nd pull it out on start up.
I have also had i hang starting with USB in...temperamental it is...only with the usb drive though. I have no prob with a sd card.
