Microsoft Outlook

When i login to my mail using 'www.outook.com' in IE 11 ,the e-mails are listed but when i click on it the e-mail do not open. This happens for all folders . I am on Windows 7.  This is a new problem as i could open the e-mails before.

However , i do not have this problem in Google Chrome or Safari on iMac.

Yesterday out of desperation ,i selected UI responsiveness (ctrl-E & profiling) from Developers tools  and to my surprise I can now open the e-mails!!!   I haven't a clue as to why or how this managed to work!

I'd recommend resetting IE 11. In Control Panel, Internet Options, choose the Advance tab. In the lower right, you'll see a Reset button. Place a check in the Delete Personal Settings (don't worry, you won't lose your favorites). You'll have to restart your PC.

When you go back to IE 11, it will be as if you just installed. Accept the default suggestions. You may have to reset your home page and, if you previously showed menus, favorites tabs, etc. you can right-click near the top and choose the objects you want.

Let me know if this does not work. I'll suggest some other fixes.

Outlook.com is not Microsoft Office Outlook. It's the new (and confusing) name for Hotmail. If you are using another email provider, don't use Outlook.com site. Use your provider's webmail site.

I have done as suggested but the same problem remains.
