Mouse problem with Citrix

Hi.

I am attempting to use Citrix to remotely control my work pc.  The problem is that the mouse doesn't click where I expect.  For example, to click a button, I have to click about 1 inch to the right of the button.

I have tried using my laptop's trackpad, a wireless USB mouse, and a wired USB mouse, but they all have the same problem.  The problem only exists with Citrix... I can use the mouse fine with other applications.

The Citrix software I am using is Citrix Presentation Server Client, Version 10.200.2650.

I contacted my company's IT dep't and they suggested trying an earlier version of the Citrix software.  I installed Access Client for MetaFrame, Version 9.150.39151, but the same problem occurs.

I'm using an Inspiron 1520 laptop with Windows XP Home SP2.

Does anyone have an idea what would cause this problem?  (I emailed Citrix & Dell support tonight, but figured I'd post here too just in case someone knows).

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

I can't offer any suggested fixes but it would appear to be a Citrix problem, not a problem with the PC (or Dell).  Since they initially suggested to use an earlier version of the program, that would lead me to believe Citrix is aware of potential problems (but doesn't have a fix).

This goes back to our old saying (jokingly) when I was a NASA programmer and would go on program checkout for a new program I wrote and the program would not work or work correctly, "your computer is broke, my program won't run"  :smileywink:

Hi,

I hope this might help but on some versions of Citrix, you can when you go to log in, change the resolution.

Other than this, I think its a case of getting onto Citrix directly or some Guru's that know about this and trying to eek out an answer from them.

Kindest regards. I am also affected by this.

The Citrix X1 Mouse is a Bluetooth wireless device that allows users to navigate virtual Windows desktops and applications on Apple iOS, Google Android and Windows mobile devices. This Bluetooth mouse is the first one to be compatible with iOS smartphones and tablets. regards: FreeFlixHQ Team.

Log on to Citrix Workspace app for Windows. Start a published Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops session. From the Desktop Viewer toolbar, select Preferences. ... Select Connections. Under Relative Mouse settings, enable Use relative mouse. Click Apply and OK.

Main issues: Anything from a recent driver update, misconfigured mouse settings, or a bad wireless mouse battery can cause this issue. The fastest way to resolve this behavior is to start with the hardware (the mouse).
