MS Paint problems

My MS Paint is munged. Is there a way to repair or reinstall it? I looked in the XP CD but couldn't find any way that was obvious.

Thanks,

John

Or install this Paint program that is free and much better than MS Paint

You may also need to install Net Framework 2.0 before installing Paint.Net.

It is almost the same for Xp, add/remove programs then click on the left side "add/remove windows components,

highlight "accessories and utilities"  hit details button

highlight "Accessories" hit details button

find "Paint" in the list and uncheck it, hit OK, OK

Reboot, go back and install it.

FYI - You will need your XP CD to reinstall mspaint after you remove it.

Dude- that wasn't a KB article or at least not a MS KB article. Worse yet, it was for Windows 95 !!! Got anything more recent, like XP?

Thanks

When you check the box by Paint in add remove windows components and hit OK Ok, it will ask for the CD.

Son of a gun- didn't know that. Sounds far too easy for Windows. ;-]

Thanks for your help.
