I have a similar problem. All of the sudden two days ago, I could access my msn e-mail page, but I could not open mail, transfer mail, or compose mail from my home page. I have been able to get messages and send by using the hotmail website, but all the messages I composed before I realized the problem, were sent to my outbox which I cannot acces through hotmail. Has anyone else had any similar problems?

Since Sunday, April 18, 2004,I have been unable to access my MSN Mail.  When I click on the envelope to get my mail, I am automatically REDIRECTED to HOTMAIL.  So far, I have not received any technical information from MSN except to update my version of MSN software to MSN 9 or to reinstall my current version of MSN 7.0.  Has anyone else experience this SUDDEN redirection to HOTMAIL. I am running Windows XP on Dell Dimension 8200.

While I hadn't heard of that particular problem before, the most common cause of mysterious changes like the one you described is spyware/malware. Download Ad-Aware and SpyBot, install them, and run them, following the instructions and advice in the first link listed below.
