.NET Framework upgrade

​ Hi, I still use Win 98se on a P-3 . I have done all the critical updates that are relevent. Is the .Net Framework update nessesary for my system? I also saw the log in fix in Pcworld mag. ​

This is not an SP2 issue, but you need the update only if you have .NET installed and require it to run a program.

If it's listed as a critical update then that means that you already have the NET framework installed -- download the update or remove the .NET framework via add/remove programs.  Some programs need .NET, so if you need it, keep it
