Thanks for reply, I could not see any "import" at all (not even greyed out). What I have done is delete the partition, which was the only option I was given (all others were greyed out), and create a new one as an extended partition not a primary partition. So far so good, yet to load stuff into it!
In disk management on the right side lower pane there are two sections for the drive "unknown"
The left box displays Disk 0,1,2,3 ect then to the right of that you have the Drive letter , right click in both of these area's to see if there is an "import" option. If so, import foreign disk.
Now received a different error code when I open same unrelated program on drive C, which is searching for a program thats been formatted in partition. (are you with me!) Tried to clean out broken shortcuts and other rubbish from registry. This time its 1706 with a windows installer dialog box and I have to cancel aboot 10 times to get rid of it!
