Printer settings

Dimension 8200, xphome, BIOS A03, SP2, 768MB RDRAM, Pentium 4, 1.8GHz, 1702FP monitor, 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200 card, AVG AV, Motorola SB5101 Cable Modem.

I just bought an Apple MacBook laptop and an Airport extreme base station router.  I set up a wireless connection for my new laptop using my existing cable modem that I used with my dell dimension 8200 desktop (not wireless).  I have an HP officejet d155xi  all in one printer connected to my dell with a usb cable.  If I take the cable out of the dell and plug it into the usb port on my new router, are there any settings or anything I need to do on the dell so I am able to print from the dell as well as my new laptop?  Thank you

Longback,

What model is your new router?  Is the USB port on the router intended to serve as a print server?

It is The Airport Extreme 802.11n Wireless Base Station model # A1143.  It says to just plug in your printer into the usb port.  Thank you.  Sorry for the delay
