Protected by a password authentication system
Our laptop was stolen, but later recovered. However, when we got it back it goes to a white screen with the following message:
"This computer system, #_______-____, is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without a correct paswword.
Please type in the system or administrator password and press Enter."
Is this a Bios password? If so, how do I go about getting this reset?
