If my Dell comes pre-installed with Quicktime 6.5, why won't itlet me upgrade to 7.0 so I can run Itunes. Whenever I try to download the upgrade, it goes through the motions only to give me an error message at the end. And of course, when I try to run Itunes, it says to install 7.0. What can I do.
Thanks, but the error is not listed (Error -3). I tried other troubleshooting methods with going into local disk but it wouldn't let me delete the temp folder. Arrgh!

Daved67,
Try downloading the Win XP version of iTunes 6 at this link, it includes QuickTime 7. Might be worthwhile uninstalling QT 6.5 first
