I have the same problem with my new e1505 ,i spoke to a dell tech and he made me uninstalling the drivers from display adapter and reinstall them,he also said its normal.i hope he's right.can anyone share some light on this

It's not unusual for the screen to go blank during boot up. The time that the screen stays blank various from computer to computer. In fact, it may vary on the same computer. I'm not sure why this happens, but I won't worry about it. If it starts to take minutes for the desktop with icons to appear, then you might want to call Dell's tech support. Of course, tech support at Dell is somewhat of a joke.
