Are you able to open the sites if you enter their URL directly into the address bar of Internet Explorer? You use the word "sometimes." Does that indicate that you are able to open some linked sites from both within IE and within OE?

I am not able to open the sites if I enter their URL directly into the address bar of Internet Explorer. I am able  to open some linked sites from both within IE and within OE. 

I get the green bars like the link will open and then "done" in the lower left corner but a completely blank screen.

I have contacted Dell but they don't seem to understand the problem (I have extended guarantee for machine and software, bad investment).  This has been going on for a few months.
