go here and download CCleaner
then after you install, run it and go to its options then startup, at the startup window locate the apps you don't want to start normally and delete their entry.
make sure you know what you are doing, if you have any questions ask us first, some of those apps need to run when you first start ;)

not sure what you mean just click on teh "download' and download and install it.
once you have downloaded it let me kno.
removing apps from startup entry will just stop them from starting with windows, it will not remove the app ;)
you can remove all the apps you named with the exception of HP digital imaging monitor I'm not familiar with that app so I don't know if you need to run that or not ;)

well when it comes to startup section or registry stuff you don't want to delete anything there you don't know about.
however the "cleaner" part of it is safe to play with ;)

Well some people have used ccleaner's registry cleaner with no problems and some people has horrible problems.
I myself have had no problems.
as for backing up, anytime you want to make changes to the registry always make a backup first, if you messup the registry then you could be looking at a reinstall ;)
