Stubborn Adware Program

I'm trying to get rid of an adware lop program.  I'm running XP pro on a 700M.  Adware SE Pro can't find it but Norton antivirus says it's in a directory starting with C:\RECYCLER\ followed by a bunch of numbers\Dc1\Setup.exe.  I can't find this directory to delete the program.  I have shown all the hidden files.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

Recycler folder is a system file in C. Empty your recycle bin plus empty your protected recycle bin, if any. If you show system files, as well as hidden, you'll see it.

Thanks for your advice.  I just emptied the bin and the program is gone.

Just curious - how do you empty the "protected" recycle bin? How is that different from the what I'll call the 'normal' reccyle bin?

right click on protected recycle bin and go to properties.  There you can switch protected bin to standard bin.  Now you can delete whatever you want.

Sorry - I don't see what you see.  I right click on my Recycle bin (the only one I have; I can't determine if this is prototected or not) and slect properties.  Again I dont' see any reference to protected or not.  What am I missing?

Sorry, you will only have a "protected" recycle bin if you are running Norton

Systemworks.
