successfully loaded driver for hardware but cannot find hardware device. (code 41)

Hi there all:
 

While working suddenly I got this error: Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)  I remove the drive and plugged again but I still got the same error.  I when and I got a different drive but I got the same error, I removed the drivers, turned the computer off and then turned back on, plugged the drive and I still got the same error.  Can some one help me on this?

    Sorry, crystal ball broken. What kind of drive are you dealing with here? It might also help if you posted your system model.

    I had exactly the same problem occur to me but it was immediately after installing iTunes from the original install disk from an iPod Video. I can uninstall the drive, reconnect and still get the same message, code 41. The drive spins on startup, lights come on, but if you go to explorer the drive does not show up and is inaccesible. I have also tried to swap out the drive with other drives and have the same problem.
