I have been working on this issue as well. Not specifically sysprep, but trying to get GSS to work with the laptop in general. I have been making a bootable PE image (on USB) for the last week and have not found the proper driver files or config to get it to work properly. My understanding is that this model (as well as some other newer ones) uses SATA for its controller architecture and as such can't use the DOS files most of us were so used to using. Because the DOS system worked so well up to this point, I have never used the PE system for Ghosting. I currently have a valid bootable USB stick which gives me a BSOD upon starting windows (goes through the initial startup sequence fine until it actually will start windows) at that point I am seeing a Bad_Pool_Header error with a STOP: 0x00000019 error code. I have since used the Live update system in GSS to do several updates but have not figured out the problem as of yet. I am guessing that I have not found the right SATA controller driver to include in the image as of yet and as such I get the BSOD when it attempts to access the DVD/HDD/NIC or anything else associated. Because I believe it is failing on the controller driver, I don't know if any of my NIC changes is any good. If I find a way to make it work I will let you know, as this seems to be a very big topic across the interwebs...
