System doesnt start - Error 21 a

Question

I had some lssass error of some sort and eventually got a blue screen with a critical error on it and my system shut down. Now every time i try to start up, i get the windows xp loading followed by the blue screen and the system shuts down again. What can i do to fix this without losing data thats in 'My Documents', etc.
