system restore software
i will be replacing my old win98 xps r400 with a new dimension computer with windows xp. i had been using "GoBack" to restore systems after crashes. i understand that there is a restore function in xp. is there still a place for a program such as "GoBack"?

System Restore restores the system state but does not restore the page file (virtual memory) or hibernation file; any files of any type stored in the following personal data folders: My Documents, Favorites, Cookies, Recycle Bin, Temporary Internet Files, History, and Temp; image and graphics files, including bitmap and JPEG files, and files that use extensions commonly associated with data files, such as .doc, .xls, .mdb, and .pdf; or E-mail files managed by Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. GoBack will restore these as well as the system state but a more secure choice than GoBack is a true image cloning program such as Image for Winodws or DiskImage.
