system shut down

Hi,

I have a problem that will pop up at different times saying system shut down on remote procedure call (RPC) and it will time down and restart the computer.

Is there anything I can do for this?

Thanks,

Dawn

You may very well have a worm/virus, check out the links regarding removal on the Virus board.

ramman245,

You have the W32.Blaster virus. See the information here for removal instructions.

when you see that message go to start button then run and type    shutdown  -a  this will give you a chance to download the patch to kill the worm.
