Tomorrow Microsoft will release Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 2021

October 5th is release date for both Windows 11, and Microsoft Office 2021.

Personally I would wait several days before updating, since as with any major release there might be issues with the upgrade process, or with the software itself.

I would highly recommend doing a complete backup of any system before attempting to upgrade, and ensure to have a secondary internet device with USB connectivity and a USB stick in case you need any specific drivers for your hardware that might not be auto detected or included with windows 11.

The Office release will also include upgrades for Office 365 on that same date, for those who use Office 365 Subscription services.
