Unable to create recovery drive - W10

I created a usb recovery drive in W10 1511, but now have updated to W10 1607 (anniversary update). I want to update my recovery drive to that level, but get an error message that some files are missing and cannot create a recovery drive. How to solve?

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

We would suggest you to try creating a recovery driver using a different USB drive .

Try the following :

1-Type cmd in the Search field. In the search results, right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

2-Once you’re inside the command environment, type sfc/scannow and press Enter. The System File Checker (SFC) program will examine Windows files and replace any that appear to be corrupt. This scan rarely takes more than 10 minutes.

Kindly let us know if this help .Also private message the service tag and email address.

Thanks

Robin
