UNKNOWN ERROR, THIRD TRY
Please accept my apology for repeating this message. The first two, subject "Unknown Error " got posted before I had finished writing the message. How? I don't know.
For the last couple of days I have been getting a Windows error window with the subject " " that reads exactly as follows:
" has caused an error in will now close.
If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer."
I have restarted the computer several times and have not been able to without successfully elimenating this error window from popping up. In fact it has popped up while I have been writing this message. The computer configuration is as follows:
Dimension 4100
Windows
0 events found

What programs are running in both the foreground and background when you get this error?

Thank you very much for replying to my problem. I check what is running in background and removed (Ended Task) for Opscan, msmsgs, Wkcalrem, Alarm, Aupdate and left Explorer, Ccapp, Em_exec, Winmgmt, System, I also went to msconfig and unchecked only one item, Task Scheduler. By doing those things seems to have (keep my fingers crossed) resolved the problem for the present as the anoying error message(s) have not re-occurred.
Thanks again for your tip. I really appreciate it.
