UP DATES INSTALLED

How can I check on updates that have been installed on my computer with out going to windows update to view the log.I think its in my laptop?            thanks for any help

Use Belarc advisor (free)

Althought not nearly as informative as Belarc, with XP you can also open a Command Prompt window and type in:
qfecheck
Press Enter

To see the list of available options for qfecheck, including one to save the results as a file, type in:
qfecheck /?
Press Enter

I tried that but no luck,I downloaded Belarc, so I can use that but thanks for the reply

FYI, What RoHe may have forgotten is that qfecheck does not come as part of the initial installation of XP but is a separate download from Microsoft. So if you want to use it, get it from
