Win XP Media Center and 4 gigs of RAM

Hey all, i have a question maybe you can help me with. I recently purchased a XPS 410 and just upgraded my ram to 4gigs. Everything seems to work fine except when i go to the devicxe manager its showing only 3 gig of ram installed. If i go into the Bios its showing 4 gig of ram installed, so i know its there. Is there a setting i need to change or what. And even if its not showing up will the system still access the memory for gaming when playing BF2 or BF2142.

System Specs.

Intel 965 EXpress Motherboard

E6400 Dou Core

4Gigs PC5300

7900GS PCIe

250 GIG Sata HD.

evidently XP and others have a 2gb limit unless you tweak the boot ini file

So if i am understanding this correctly XP 32 bit doesnt use more than 3 gigs, unless you modify the boot.ini which could cause issues with other parts of the system. So my option is to go to a 64 bit OS. Good Job MS :P
