SP2 updates WMP to v9, not 10: ( http://tinyurl.com/3d9qk ) Version 10 is a separate download (unless you had it installed beforehand).
In order to update your video drivers, you need to which video card you have installed. Find your service tag and got to Support>Downloads http://tinyurl.com/6wpmr
Or go here: http://tinyurl.com/7yh4l and DELL will scan your current configuration (you will need to agree to install an Active X control).
I have already upgraded to version 10 manually already after installing SP2, and following your advise, I reinstalled version 10 again but still is having the same problem.
I'm a comp idiot so has no idea about the video driver but I really thank you for ur help and taking the time to help me with it.

Did you upgrade to the latest version of WMP? It's in version 10:

Don't be hard on yourself, this is how we learn! Try the DELL configuration tool before uninstalling SP2.
