windows 11 on xps 8940
New xps 8940 running windows 11. On the start menu the microsoft store icon is not showing as well as xbox icons.
Cannot access settings as window will disappear as soon as it comes up. This also affects the cortana app and cannot access settings for the app.
No Events found!

I should also note that trying to click to go to microsoft store does not work as well. I have run file checker and have no issues there. Cannot download apps from store either.

So update on this. I reset the pc back to factory and started over again. All went well except now the MY DELL app icon is not showing but hovering over with curser says it's there. Will not open up that app and cannot uninstall app to reset.. If I right click on the disappearing icon to open settings the window will just disappear. My Dell app does not appear in Apps either

Have you tried to check for updates in settings? You can access settings by clicking on the search (magnifying glass icon) on the taskbar and typing in settings. Remember that Windows 11 is far from done or far from perfect. There have been a number of updates and I suspect that by the 2nd quarter of 2022 many bug fixes will have been addressed. But as with prior versions of Windows it is a work in progress.
