I am having the same problem, but there must be something else going on: after all you ARE installing from the CD-DVD drive, right? What further driver could it need that it doesn't already have? It's a standard DVD rom drive isn't it? Shouldn't it "just work"?

If there is a solution to this problem I would appreciate it, too.

Is the DVD scratched or was it downloaded?  My experience ... it is corrupt media.  Twice this week it installed just fine after re-burning the DVD.

hi, same problem here, anyone got the answer? I tried re-burning the dvd (it's a windows original downloaded .iso archive) but nothing. Again and again requesting the drivers...

I tried copying the drivers in a pendrive but still didn't work...

thanks

What system are you working on?
Did you try to burn the DVD at a slower write speed (slowest available in your software)?
Did you try downloading the ISO again?

hello, my system windows xp proffesional x86 in a precision m6300 laptop.

I will try to download again and re-burn it at the lowest speed, and I'll let you know again.

thanks for your help
