windows mail backup
I am trying to backup my Windows Mail messages. But when I copy them to my flash drive, I get the following error message: "The files(240 of them) have properties that can't be copied to the new location." What am I doing wrong? I am doing this in safe mode because my computer will only start in safe mode. I would like to back up my messages so I can re-format my hard drive. I would greatly appreciate any help.

There are certain properties that will not transfer with the files to a FAT formatted drive, if you want to keep these "properties" you must back up to a NTFS formatted drive.
These properties in Vista are usually "Alternate Data Streams" which are hidden data, They are usually not missed by the user, so you can ignore the warning and backup anyway.
